Ed’s Penguin Cafe
SO WHERE DOES OUR COFFEE COME FROM?
Our coffee is grown by the Lenca Indians in the mountains of Honduras. After growing and harvesting the the ripe cherries our growers carry out the additional process of depulping and washing the beans. This helps maintain quality and improves the farmer’s livelihood by adding value to the crop. After a final sorting, the coffee is prepared for export, then transported to a climate controlled facility in Northwest Arkansas where it is roasted on demand for us. It’s more than fair!
